However, Ancelotti decided to start Eder Militao who is back after his one-game suspension due to consecutive yellow card
Speaking on his choice ahead of kick-off, the Italian gaffer said : “Rüdiger? Well he deserves to start too.”
“It can be a long game and the bench can contribute something important.”
